Her research-based experience spans environmental, climate change, employment, and tax law – all invaluable to UKPA’s diverse operations. With an LLM degree from Duke University School of Law, earned under the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, she excels in research acumen and advising.
Jony has extensive experience working with hundreds of property investors and has achieved notable success in securing SDLT refund claims totalling over £1 million. She also has experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including bilateral, multilateral, and UN agencies. Her keen understanding of legal and regulatory space enables excellence in her work.
She holds extraordinary expertise in SDLT planning, including strategies such as Multiple Dwellings Relief, Refunds on Derelict Properties, First-Time Buyer Relief, 3% SDLT Refunds, and Group Relief. In addition to all this, she teaches law, writes extensively, and provides training to diverse entities including corporate bodies on matters including but not limited to legal and regulatory compliance.
